Artist Statement

Art, for me, is more than form it teaches, lifts, inspires, and heals.

I create sculptures primarily in concrete and mixed media, while passionately exploring the limitless possibihties of upcycling discarded plastics and acrylic offcuts. My work bridges tradition and innovation. Rooted in my Igbo heritage and the rich sculptural traditions of Nigeria, I reflect cultural identification, environmental consciousness, and often overlooked shared human experiences.

As a lecturer and Chairman of the Society of Nigerian Artists (Anambra State Chapter), I am committed to nurturing the next generation of artists, inspiring my students to become self-sufficient, economically independent and employers of labour through their art practice.
